Développement Vaudreuil-Soulanges (DEV) is pleased to roll out a new tool to promote local shopping in Vaudreuil-Soulanges: the very first local gift card. This initiative, powered by Hello, provides a practical solution to support local merchants and restaurateurs.
“The current situation brings its share of challenges to the region’s merchants and restaurateurs. Considering our frontline mandate with businesses in Vaudreuil-Soulanges and our deep understanding of their issues, it was essential for us to implement an additional tool to promote local purchasing. We are confident that this initiative will generate positive economic outcomes for the region,” says Joanne Brunet, General Manager at DEV.
Isabelle Mercier, Commercial Development Commissioner at DEV, highlights the positive impact of local gift cards on the economy of Vaudreuil-Soulanges. Currently, these cards are accepted by 115 businesses and restaurants across the region, underscoring their integration into the local economic fabric. She also points out that these cards are an excellent way to promote the region’s exceptional commercial offer, well beyond the borders of the MRC, thereby contributing to its recognition and attractiveness.
